Manchester - The most inclusive UK LGBT+ City
UK
Firstly, Manchester is known for its universities. So, don’t be overwhelmed if you find the city filled with young gay boys enjoying their lives openly and freely. Manchester is a city where walking is extremely comfortable and easy to do. This will give you the perfect opportunity to explore the city on foot, enjoy the historical architecture, and discover incredible areas with great lakes and gorgeous views. Manchester is not a big city, so walking is an option.
This lovely gay city is a great destination for those who want to escape the problems of daily life for a few days. Londoners would come here on the regular for a visit because the vibe is far different.
Manchester’s gay nightlife is incredibly vibrant and an experience that you must try out. It has an abundance of gay clubs and bars, each with their own unique themes. The gay city is famous for some of the most eccentric gay districts such as the “Gay Village” that you can find in Canal Street. As I mentioned before, it is a university town, so you will, most likely, be mingling with a younger gay crowd. There are tons of popular Drag Queens who perform shows, which tells you just how free Manchester can be.
You might also be interested in the great Street Market to enjoy the local cuisine and energetic vibes of Manchester.
I will say that many people said Manchester could be unsafe, on occasion. In my experience, I felt very safe and found the city to be enjoyable. Though, I would recommend to just pay close attention to your belongings. Well, they say that to most incredible places you visit.
I hope you have a lovely time there!
Recommendations

As far as I know, Manchester doesn’t have any purely gay accommodation options. There are no gay hotels or gay hostels that cater to only gay men. It’s shocking to hear that because Manchester is one of Europe’s most popular gay destinations.
The gay nightlife is primarily focused around the “Gay Village.” So, I would recommend you find a hotel or hostel in a nearby area.
