Taramul African - Paradisul vacantelor de tip Gay Safari
Africa de Sud
Few holidays can deliver adrenaline, excitement and anticipation - but also happiness, calm and tranquillity.
Enter the gay safari - a unique holiday where gay couples or a group of gay friends can soak up an incredible African experience. Spend the morning gazing in awe at some of the most celebrated creatures in the animal kingdom, then lie back and relax at a luxury lodge or campsite where your every need is catered for.
For most people, a Safari is a once-in-a-lifetime experience. To help you put together the perfect trip, here are some key things to consider when planning your Safari.
The first thing to consider is the length of your trip and the activities you’d like to be included. A gay Safari holiday is typically be a 3-10 day excursion. The focal point of the trip will, of course, be the Safari itself. This will see guests taken from their accommodation and into wildlife parks and reserves for a morning, afternoon or full day of exploration and animal spotting. However many tours will also offer guests activities such as city tours (such as Cape Town or Johannerseberg in South Africa), experiences such as trekking, or non-safari sightseeing such as visit to Victoria Falls.
Another key consideration is the type of accommodation you’d like to stay in. Different Safari holidays offer a range of accommodation types to suit different people. In popular parks like the Krugar National park in South Africa, visitors can enjoy 5-star luxury in the many gorgeous lodges located within the park. For the more adventurous or for those with a smaller budget, basic lodges and camping pitches are also available. Alternatively, a third option offers the best of both worlds: luxury campsites or “glamping” sites provide guests with both the home-comforts of a luxury lodge and the authentic experience of sleeping under the stars and listening to the sound of the wilderness.
Finally, if there is a particular animal, or group of animals, that you’ve dreamt of seeing in the wild - be sure to choose a destination where sightings are common. Many Safari holidays will give you the opportunity to see a selection of spectacular animals, but a specific park or reserve may not necessarily be home to your favourite.
A gay safari holiday may sound like it requires a lot of planning - and we’d definitely recommend at least some! - but don’t let that put you off. A safari really is a trip of a lifetime; a holiday of lifelong memories, unforgettable experiences - and perhaps even new perspectives. Whether you’re looking for an extraordinary gay honeymoon destination, or you are a gay parent searching for an inspirational destination to take your children, a Safari has it all.
Not sure where to start when planning your African adventure? South Africa is home to Kruger National Park - one of Africa’s largest game reserves - and is also a country where the rights of Gay and LGBT+ people are protected. In fact, South Africa was the fifth country in the world to legalise same-sex marriage.
Have a lovely holiday!
