Tel Aviv and Jerusalem - The perfect gay family holiday in Middle East

Israel

Tel - Aviv

A perfect combination of relaxation and  knowledge of geography and history in a lovely, calm and hospitable atmosphere, Tel-Aviv is a great destination for gay families with children or single gay dads.

Long promenade with white / yellow sandy beaches, colorful umbrellas and sunbeds placed next to the water, many public showers and changing rooms, restaurants and bars with good music, small but nice playgrounds perfect to entertain and keep busy your kids, all this is waiting for you  for a memorable vacation.

Most of the times you will have a clear blue sky, the Mediterranean Sea is warm and quiet, generally very clean with a smooth entrance from the beach.

The water is not at all deep on the shore, perfect for a children's swim.

I recommend water shoes because sometimes there are stones or rocks that can hurt you.

Sand is good for building castles and playing.

Before a day at the beach in the morning or in the evening (after the beach) a walk on the wonderful seafront where you can admire the modern tall buildings on one side and on the other side the long beach where people play handball or yoga.

You will be surprised, but in Tel Aviv there are many outdoor free gyms for dads who want to do fitness with wonderful sea views.

The old town also called "Jaffa Old City" is a wonderful attraction for art and gallery, impressive old buildings but also a wonderful view of the city and port.

Tel Aviv is one of the few places where I felt safe as a gay. I also saw gay parents with children on the street and at the beach, rainbow flags in so many places such as shops, bars, restaurants, on the street, on the beach that gave me a very good comfort to be who I am.

I walked both day and night exploring the city always feeling safe, and not having any discomfort (from my experience).

Having a holiday here can be a wonderful experience leaving aside the very high prices for both food and drink even compared to London. Also valid in supermarkets.

Maybe it would be better to take a check-in baggage in which you can put all the bath / beach products, sweets and other products that do not deteriorate.

Whatever you will decide Tel - Aviv is a great gay family destination, relax and have fun!
